As a commitment to our customers, we offer a 2-year warranty upon completion of all our jobs. 

WARRANTY STATEMENT:
If paint failure appears, we will supply labor and materials to correct the condition without cost under the following terms and conditions: 

• In the event of a claimed breach of this warranty, the purchaser shall deliver to Gessel Painting and Fine Finishes (Gessel Painting), at the address provided, not more than 30 days after the discovery of defect, written notice of the defect, and the date it was discovered. 

• Gessel painting will inspect the area within 7 days of notification of possible defect. 

• If inspection determines that the defect falls within the scope of warranty, Gessel Painting shall provide replacement services (labor and material) to correct the defect. 

• Any corrective service or additional material shall not extend this warranty, but the remaining warranty period shall continue in effect and be applicable under the original terms and conditions. 

• Repairs under warranty will be performed only on specific areas where paint failure has occurred. 

• Exact paint match cannot be guaranteed due to environmental effects on color and finish of materials over time. 



THIS WARRANTY IS NOT APPLICABLE UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: 

• Consequential or incidental damages cause by accident or abuse, normal wear and tear, temperature changes, settlement or moisture (i.e. nail pops or cracks caused by expansion and/or contraction). Cracks will be properly prepared as indicated at time of job, but will not be covered under this warranty 

• Coating failure due to structural damage cause by standing water, inadequate drainage, improperly installed guttering, or guttering in need of repair/replacement, sprinklers or window unit air conditioners causing continuous water saturation, leaking and/or pooling in/on or around affected area(s). 

• Coating failure due to wood rot, termites, carpenter bees, carpenter ants, or any other insect caused damage. 

• Coating failure due to structural alterations, additions, repair or normal shifting and settling of building and substrate 

• Coating failure caused by unchecked mold or mildew growth 

• Coating failure caused by roof and/or plumbing leaks 

• Coating failure caused by previous coating breakdown 

• Coating failure on horizontal surfaces that by virtue of its design permits moisture to collect. Surfaces include, but are not limited to: decks, railing, stairs, porches, roofs, and wood gutters. 

• Coating failure resulting from: caustic chemicals, fire, acts of god, natural disasters such as windstorms, floods, earthquakes, lighting, mudslides, etc.
